Project Management

I served as the project manager for Mynd's site rebrand and migration, a transformative initiative that directly contributed to the company's acquisition by Roofstock.

Mynd’s visual identity, established in 2016, had grown inconsistent as the company scaled. After consulting with the company for nearly a year, I was brought on to lead this high-impact project, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team spanning branding, design, engineering, and growth to redefine and unify the company’s digital presence.

Key Achievements

  • Successfully navigated the complexities of a fully remote, cross-functional team distributed across three time zones to deliver the project on time and within scope.

  • Defined goals, deliverables, and crafted a clear, actionable roadmap for execution.

  • Consulted with stakeholders to align on priorities and ensure shared objectives.

  • Proactively identified and mitigated risks to avoid delays or roadblocks.

  • Facilitated regular syncs to align branding, design, engineering, and growth teams.

  • Maintained transparency with stakeholders through consistent progress updates.

  • Fostered a collaborative and positive team culture to drive engagement and accountability.

  • Leveraged project management tools to track tasks, timelines, and deliverables efficiently.

  • Documented processes and developed actionable reports to measure progress and results.

Web Migration

 

​Managed the simultaneous publishing of the new homepage working with design, engineering, content, and growth, and coordinating between teams to mitigate roadblocks and ensure long term success. ​The shift converted an additional 20% of homepage visits to leads and led to the initial acquisition meeting.

Knowledge Center Migration

​

We migrated the Knowledge Center, the brand's thought leadership center for boutique real estate content written by New York Times experts. The migration included a rebrand, a CMS shift, and an addition of a strategic SEO update, to ensure that each article converted to leads. Migration increased translation by 30%.

Biggest Challenge + Success

​

Synchronizing a remote, multidisciplinary team while managing overlapping priorities.

To address this, I developed feasible timelines to balance competing priorities across teams. I also ensured clear, consistent communication across all departments.​​

 

Overall, the rebrand and migration not only revitalized Mynd’s digital identity but also contributed directly to key business outcomes, including the company’s successful acquisition by Roofstock. This project showcased the power of strategic project management in delivering results that drive both organizational growth and stakeholder value.
